Gulf Oil - Competition Line 15w50
The Competition 15w-50 oil from Gulf is an oil suitable for a wide range of race and rally applications, notably in longer events and in large ( such as American V8s and highly rated 1000bhp ) engines. Its exceptional level of protection against engine wear, especially in high temperature conditions, is ideal where frequent engine rebuilds must be avoided.
Available in 1 Litre and 5 Litre sizes
While these oils are excellent for motorsport / trackday use, they are not recommended for use in road cars, especially if the car or its engine is still under the manufacturers' warranty.
Gulf Competition is a range of products specially formulated for, and tested in, race and rally conditions in a variety of cars. These oils are based on the very latest concept of synthetic fluids, such as chemically pure esters, that have been carefully chosen to provide the maximum level of protection and deliver specific performance benefits vital in motor racing. All the oils incorporate a top of the range additive system which, in other products, attains the high international specifications such as ACEA A3/B4 and API SL/CF.
Suitable for high performance, turbo-charged, super-charged, naturally aspirated petrol engined cars, or diesel powered race cars.
Note: Gulf Competition Engine Oils are primarily intended for motorsport use. They are not recommended for long term / everyday use in most road cars, unless the vehicle has been extensively modified and performance tuned, or is used extensively for track days.
