Gulf Competition LS 75w-90 gear oil is an extra high performance extreme pressure type automotive gear lubricant for use in modern high performance cars. Competition LS is blended from selected high quality base oils and advanced performance additives to provide exceptional protection against thermal degradation, component wear and oil seal deterioration for extended service life.
Application : Limited slip differentials and heavy duty non synchronized manual transmissions, axles and final drives where API GL-5 quality oils are specified, not recommended for automatic transmissions.

Gulf driveline oils are based on the very latest concept of synthetic fluids, incorporating pure esters as well as synthetic hydrocarbons that have been combined with robust anti-wear additive packages containing special friction modifiers. The oils have been used in synchromesh gear boxes and final drives, including those with limited slip differentials. The additive system provides protection to at least the levels stipulated by both API GL-4 and GL-5.

Synchromesh gearboxes
Off-set hypoid differential units
Differential units with limited slip action, for 4 wheel drive
